Install 2.2.1 beta over old version

what is the best way to install the new version over the old...I have a very-well established database and even some good hacks in the businesslogic.php file that I would like to keep.

How to keep this in and also get the benefits of the new program?

Even if I haven't tried it , you could try to simply update the php scripts, without reinstalling DaDaBIK and see if everything works fine. Of course backup your scripts and database before.

If you mean from 2.2.1 beta to 2.2.1 I have found this note:
Changed function
update_record, insert_record, write_upload
config.php
english.php, dutch.php
and case "generic_file" and "image_file" in build_form function.

But I'm not 100% sure.
